Rubbish And Litter

Today in school we learnt about rubbish and litter for PB4L, you are about to read my ideas for what we did. Enjoy!

How do we behave when eating or drinking at school?

Firstly we behave while we are eating and drinking at school by not being silly and playing with our food.

Secondly we also behave when we are eating and drinking at school by not making other people laugh if they are either drinking or eating.

Thirdly I behave when I am eating and drinking by always keeping my hands and feet to my self so I do not touch other students food.

Fourthly I behave when I am eating and drinking by not spitting or talk to other people when I have some food/water in my mouth.

Summer Learning Journey(My Favourite Food) Wk1 Activity 1 Day 2

Today Megan came into our class and reminded us about the "Summer Learning Journey" We are going to talk about our Favorited food for the first activity. Hope you enjoy!

My Favourite food is Puaca(Cooked pig) Lu Sipi(Banana Leaf and Lamb meat cooked with coconut milk.) With A side of a drink called Otai(mango pineapple drink) And all of this is normally eaten in Tonga.

This week we have been focusing on valuing our learning. I made a google drawing about how I would value my learning in class.

The Google Hunt!

Today Matua Gerhad came over to our school and taught us all about "The Google Hunt!" I hope you enjoyed how I did it and yeah!

What and how do we use critical thinking

Critical  thinking is like when you are really thinking as hard as you can, basically letting your brain take over.We use Critical thinking in our learning to solve problems.

(Math)We also Critical think to find out where and how you’re going to get out of something. We use Critical thinking to discover new things like how Charles Babbage discovered the computer. Critical thinking is when someone doesn’t ask you to do something but you still do it Example: the floor is so dirty and no one cleans it. I then grab a mop and start cleaning the floor without anyone telling me to. I basically just used my critical thinking. Did you know we can use your critical thinking outside of your house/school like this! Example: a poor homeless man is lying on the floor. Without him asking I buy him some food and a free hotel card. Critical thinking saved the day!(for that man/woman)

Sunday Birthday Celebration For Me!

Monday 21st May,2018 Sunday On Sunday morning, I woke up straight up and ran to the lotofale (sitting room). When I went to the lotofale my brother walked in. I asked him what he was going to do, he said, i'm going to play fortnite.” I don't know why but he always plays fortnite every weekend he goes on the ps4 to play fortnite. Everyday on the holiday he wakes up at about 3 am and plays fortnite. But on Sunday he go in trouble. Because he's not even supposed to go on fortnite. My mum out from her room and looked at my brother she asked him what he was doing, and he said he’s playing. My mum asked what he was playing, he looked at my mum and said “fortnite” When my mum heard him say fortnite she gave him the evil’s. She asked my brother “Who said you can play fortnite?” “No-one” says my brother. My mum then said that he’s never to play fortnite again, I only said I was watching him. At about 7:58 AM I got ready for church I don't know why but it takes me 10 seconds to shower, and 5 seconds to change. I looked in my draw and got the best jean shorts there was. If your wondering why I got my best jean shorts is because… It was Tongan Fathers Day! When I put on my best shorts I got my favourite shirt, and ran to the lotofale I saw my dad lying down on the couch and gave him a kiss on the cheek. Once my whole family was ready. We hopped into the van and drove off to my church. When we got to church we saw people outside, when my mum parked up I went outside and ran to my little cousin. I picked him up and he laughed, when I got inside there were so many people. My cousins, aunts, and uncles. My church was full of very happy people. I went to the front row which all the kids were. It got boring a little because it was the start, we didn’t sing songs yet. So I went to the playroom, it was funny because my cousin tried to hit me with the ball but it bounced back and hit his face. Luckily it was a very squishy ball, I went back into church and someone called out my name. It was my aunt she told my to play the drums. So I went up on the stage and played a very cool sounding beat for every song the worship sang, I normally sing but drumming is way better. The whole church sang the songs that the were worship was singing, it was beautiful! In the middle of church we did treasure box, the treasure box is a very special box. It's full of lollies, and if you say a memory verse or something you've did good in your weekend/holiday, a runner comes up to to with the treasure box, and you take one lolly. When church finished we practised for fakame(Basically like a performance for kids but in Tongan) Fakame is very fun because you can eat dance and enjoy the songs. In fakame kids have some things to say, we call is Lesoni. I have three lesoni’s and it's very long, I have one action song and my brother has two.
