Cross Country!

Ready get set HONK! We did cross country! I sadly came last but I still tried. i just want to say to enjoy this blog and stay tuned for more posts.

Go me Go! Im coming last but still bate some people. At least I participated in 1 and a half laps. I was close to doing my half lap but I couldn't breath properly. Im lucky I had my friends to help me, I collapsed for 10 seconds and decided that I needed to finish. So I got back up and started jogging. I luckily finished the race but came last still. All I had to do was practise and practise, by the next cross country U will be great!

Healthy Talk!

Hi guys, the kauri team have had a Healthy talk. I hope you tune in and just flow free.

We found out that some food and drinks have lots of fat and sugar in it. I  hate how all the drinks that I drink have lots of sugar in it. I need to really start drinking water commonly because I drink fizzy the most. I hope you have lots of water and stop eating that high on fat food.

I recommend you to drink water everyday and never stop. but if you go ahead and drink fizzy than, well then you will be having too much sugar. We learnt that some food and drinks are way to bad.

Hip Hop lessons!

Today Kauri team went for hip hop lessons in the hall. We all were exited and nervous but at the end everyone were so tired I heard some moans when they went back to class. I also moaned because I actually couldn't feel my legs a little. Hope you enjoy!

Volley Ball Training Skills

Hi guys we were doing hip hop and if you dont know how to play it we will give you simple skills. Our coaches are Elena and Seine, we are lucky to have these wonderful coaches to teach us volley ball.

1. Dig
2. Serve
3. Throw
4. Ready Position

And there is one more I really need to find out. To dig you need to stand still hands together, so basicly

Serve is probably what you all know so I guess I dont have to take a screen shot.

And throw is a basic throw. Ready position is one leg in front of the other, it doesn't matter about which one you put in front. Stay tuned for more blogs. But before I publish I will take a picture of the one I dont know

My Speech!

Hey guys I have just said my speech to my class and I hope I get into the finals, I really hope you enjoy my speech!

Why family are more important than friends!

Do you ever think, family are more important than friends?Or do you ever think if friends are more important than family? Well i'm here to give a big speech about it! You can always tell that family are more important than friends. Even though you might be use to be seeing your family every day friends can be special in your life to. Friends are really nice to you once you just join the school. They show you around and tell you the meaning of  the PB4L, family love and care for you.I really thought about this speech and I guess this will give you a lesson. Just remember family and friends can have the same amount of importance. I hope you will like and share my speech with friends!

Firstly family are more important as they care for you. Just like my mum she takes care of me and will always care for me. And my brothers like to play and talk with me, but some friends just want me to play with them. Last of all they love you! My brothers care for me and I will care for them. I love every in my family and I will always love everyone in my family

Secondly I want to say how do we actually know why family are more important than friends? Well family are more important than friends just as your family are the first thing you need in the morning. And friends sometime always just want to play and have free time in class, also sometimes they act nice to get sunshines and go on the certificate.

Third of all do your friends make you food? No they don't, speaking of  do your friends make you food Family are more important as they make you food and won't just let you starve to death like obviously. And friends just give you junk food and say you owe me even though they said nothing about owing and why would they even give you food then say “you owe me.”

Fourth of all why should we think family are more important than friends? For example your mum gave birth to you and always took care of you ever since. And your dad looks after you when your mum is at work or having dinner with friends.

Last of all my mum and dad love me and will never stop loving me. Friends just like me and do not play with me sometimes. And my dad tickles me and kisses me on the cheek, I love them and they love me.

“I hope you have enjoyed my speech if you did not, I hope you had a good nap”(That was the joke I tried to put in)

Hey guys, I found out I didn't get into the finals but its ok! I still have next year, which that means I get to do a Tongan speech! I wish good luck to the people who got into the finals. Matariki

Did you know that matariki is the name of a new year? Did you also know that tane mahuta son of ranginui/the father sky and papatuanuku/the mother earth separated both his parents to see the light for once. Ranginui the father was so sad he cried. But when he cried his tears were lightning strikes. Then somehow the lightning strikes just dashed right into the heavens, then turned into stars. The stars might be called “the Maori legend.”  before the parents were split the sons had a little talk. Then the three brothers turned into gods. One was god of war. The second one the god of the forest. And the last one was god of wind.

Science - Learning about force

Cousin's Birthday

On May the 21st We Celebrated my Baby Cousin's birthday. We celebrated It at Church because His Birthday was on Sundays he's Really cute and funny. We always have to wait after Church because we have to wait until the tables are set up and the food is on the table. Once the church finished we went into the hall to eat. Cooked Pig, Some Taro, Cupcakes, Lollies, All those Goodies. It was as yum as one thousand strawberry ice creams/trumpets. I loved his birthday so much that I wish it could be like my ones, But my ones are just bad because I sometimes don't celebrate my birthdays on the day It's my Birthday. He might just be really lucky or it's just babies and elders that get the goodies. My brother handed out some cupcakes to the kids and some of the elders as well. My Nephew turned just 1 years old and he can stand and walk. So he's learning loads of stuff just by getting older. We played some songs, Some of the old ladies stood up and started to dance and my cousin man, He just keeps flapping his hands up and down, This was his so-called “Dance”. I think the ladies got up to dance because it was mothers day as well. If you are wondering what his name is his name is Charlie Junior, he is named after his dad and is also called “Charlie”. After we finished we all had to clean up. I helped clean by putting some of the tables and chairs away. Author - Marley MY CUTE COUSIN!

His birthday was awesome and fun, I got full from all the food but when we got home I wanted some more.
